Samuel Woods discovered his passion for sports and the art of human movement since beginning martial arts from a young age, further leading him to develop a career in dancing and performing arts.
Following a lower back injury, Samuel sought treatment from a chiropractor that helped him to understand his condition, treat the pain, and educated him on how to prevent further injury and reoccurrence. This experience inspired him to change his career from Mechatronic Engineering and pursue Chiropractic in order to help facilitate physical function and well being in others.
Samuel attained his Masters of Chiropractic at Macquarie University in 2016, with a focus on Diversified manual adjustments, soft tissue therapy, physical and functional rehabilitative exercises.
Additional courses I have attended outside of my degree include:
- Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) Level
- Musculoskeletal dry needling
